Megaflip has provided the client with assistance in the preparation of the project awareness campaign and for the implementation of the regional infrastructure projects. The mandate contained also training for the staff component.

RHEINBRAUN ENGINEERING UND WASSER / LDK Consultants Engineers and Planners (EU/PHARE)

Megaflip has been sub-contracted by the consortium of Rheinbraun Engineering und Wasser GmbH / LDK Consultants, Engineers and Planners to provide the services under the local operation component of the MARR Grant fund project under the technical assistance for the management and implementation of the grant scheme. The MARR Grant Fund aimed at financing measures for economic and social development and labour market and human resources development. The MARR Grant Fund financed small transport and utilities infrastructure, active employment measures, economic development projects proposed by the local authorities in the two mining regions of the Jiu Valley and Gorj County.

Megaflip assisted the company in drafting and implementing its marketing strategy for the Environmental Department. The Consultant assisted the company in establishing co-operation links with foreign companies specialized in performing environmental studies and audits, in identifying new business opportunities; the mandate also involved on-job training of the company’s staff in marketing and project management.

Ministry of Industry and Trade – (EU PHARE)

Megaflip SRL acted as the advisor of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, providing the technical assistance for the selection, identification, contracting and monitoring of projects to be financed by an Euro 425,000 Grant Fund (part of the PHARE Project of Euro 825,000 grant fund under the EU/PHARE Energy Programme – RO 9504). The Grant Fund was designed to cope with the distress caused by the restructuring of coal mining industry and massive redundancies in the Gorj County . As a result of the success of the project, additional funds were made available for the two regions under a Euro 10 million program, MARR Fund financed by the EU PHARE.

FIMAN / EU PHARE

The monitoring tasks included collection of specific information on the progress of the project; the input-output, cost-benefit analysis; the impact analysis. The activity involved identification of suitable information sources, gathering of information through structured interviews, focus groups, direct and indirect observations, on site visits to the project locations and actual drafting of the monitoring report based on the monitoring procedure established for those FIDEL projects. The evaluation tasks included the assessment of the direct and indirect effects of the local FIDEL projects and proposals of solutions for solving the issues raised by the projects implementation as well as for the improvement of future similar programs.

Megaflip has assisted FIMAN in the design of the financial planning system for the contracts concluded with the beneficiaries including the disbursement plan, the payment monitoring system as well as the procedure and standard formats to be used. A reporting and evaluation system was also implemented.

BEGAMAR Foundation PHARE

The Consultant assisted the Foundation in the identification, selection and implementation of micro-projects for financing under a Micro-Grant Fund. The Consultant has drafted the Procedure for the Organisation and Operation of the Micro-Fund, the establishment of the Project Evaluation and Selection Procedure The fund was disbursed to micro-businesses in the area.

AF VEJLE Denmark/ SERVA SRL/PHARE

Assistance to the company in drafting the project proposal (for financing under the PHARE program) for the establishment of a Temporary Labour Agency. The project required twinning with a specialised foreign entity (in this case, AF Vejle Denmark ). The project was accepted for financing and the Agency is currently operational.

Megaflip acted as Local Development Agent for the PAEM Program of Fagaras – Brasov . The consultant assisted the local consortium in drafting, contracting and implementing a local program of active employment measures. The measures financed under the program consisted of the establishment of a “Business Promotion Centre” and of an “Assistance Centre for the Unemployed People”.

Megaflip acted as Local Development Agent for the PAEM Program of Margina – Timis. The consultant assisted the local consortium in drafting, contracting and implementing a local program of active employment measures. The measures financed under the program consisted of “Training on jobs required on the labour market with subsidised salaries – woodworkers and wattle workers” and a “Centre for initiating and developing business”.

SYSKOPOS/RAABKIRCHEN Germany

Megaflip has performed the market study for measuring devices for water and gas consumption for Romania . The market study was part of the overall market study commissioned by Raabkirchen to Syskopos for all countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
